Making Connections with Human Resources Professionals in the Nashville Tennessee area.

Purpose

To unite, through membership in the association, persons involved in human resources management.

To provide opportunities for members to increase their knowledge of human resources management practices and methods.

To develop through education, research, discussions and exchange of information a better understanding of the nature, purpose, and uses of the methods of human resources management, and to make this information available to members.

To foster acquaintances and fellowship among members and provide opportunities for development of his or her individual abilities.

To assist schools, organizations and other groups in the training of young men and women to prepare for the business world in the area of human resources management.

Membership

Full membership will be granted to those persons possessing the necessary qualifications without regard to race, sex, color, religion, age or national origin.

Qualifications: Any management level individual engaged in human resources management-related work.

Exclusions from membership: Those individuals representing employment agencies and consultants.

An individual desiring membership must complete the membership application of the Association and return it to the membership committee for review. The operating committee chairperson will then make a recommendation to the Executive Committee who will make the final decision to extend membership.

Annual dues are $200.00 for the calendar year. Dues cover the cost of all meetings, meals and social events.
